All trips include water, light snacks, fuel, safety equipment, and all required gear necessary for the selected activity. Clients are encouraged to bring personal items such as sunscreen, hats, and any preferred beverages.
Clients participating in fishing trips are responsible for obtaining any required North Carolina fishing licenses prior to departure, unless otherwise specified. It is the responsibility of each guest to ensure they are in compliance with all applicable state and federal fishing regulations.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation. The remaining balance is due prior to departure and may be paid in cash or other accepted forms of payment.
All trips are weather-dependent. In the event, the captain determines conditions are unsafe, clients will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Customer cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled trip will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.

Failure to arrive at the scheduled departure time without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Captain’s Authority: The captain retains full authority over all aspects of the trip and reserves the right to cancel, delay, or terminate any trip due to unsafe weather conditions, mechanical issues, or unsafe or inappropriate behavior by passengers. Any actions that compromise the safety of the vessel or those onboard may result in immediate termination of the trip without refund. Safety is the top priority at all times.
Malkin’s Marine Services provides U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal flotation devices (PFDs) for all passengers. The use of personal life vests is strongly recommended for all guests throughout the duration of the trip.
Children and any individuals who are not confident swimmers may be required to wear a life vest at the captain’s discretion. All passengers must comply with safety instructions provided by the captain at all times.
